I found this article from the Santa Maria Times in California. It’s about a bed and breakfast, located in Los Alamos, CA, called the Victorian Mansion.
The Victorian Mansion was originally built in Nipomo in 1864 by Russian immmigrants. In 1880, a millionaire named Richard Langdon moved it to Los Alamos and took up the task of turning it into a fantasy house of themed suites.
The years took their toll on the Old Vic, as it is called in the article, even though it continued to operate as a B&B. Within the last few years, however, a lawyer named Rod Rigole, who had stayed in the mansion a number of times with his parents in the 90s, purchased and refurbished it.
Now the Victorian Mansion is as exotic as ever. You can choose from five themed suites. I think I’d try the Roman Suite first. The amenities in each suite, including hot tub for two, fireplace, and remote-controlled ambiance, are enticingly lavish.
Check out the article and maybe consider a visit to the Victorian Mansion Bed and Breakfast if you find yourself in the Santa Maria Valley.
